Lucinda's versatility has been a major attraction for events organisers. She has entertained for the most intimate occasions as well as for large groups. She can be packaged either a soloist (playing guitar/double bass/ or piano to accompany her voice), or joined by a selection of Australia's most talented and in demand jazz musicians to form a duo, trio or quartet. She is totally comfortable in the role of either background music or special feature. Her uniquely soulful approach to a hugely varied repertoire brings a warmth to any occasion whether it be a corporate event, private celebration or wedding. Her ability to create just the right ambience is part of her skill as an experienced performer.

She has performed for numerous events for clients such as Perpetual, Toyota, Coca-Cola, Ernst & Young, Mercedes Benz, Reebok, Lumier Building, AMP, Clayton Utz, P&O, Law Society, Ramaciotti Awards (3 consecutive years), CSIRO, Singapore Airlines, L'Oreal, KEZU Designs, Wolgan Valley Resort, Hannaford's events to name just a few. Frequently playing in venues such as The Art Gallery of NSW, MCA, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Town Hall, Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf, Sydney Theatre Company. She has also held long term residencies at Bennelong Sydney Opera House, The Pavillion on the Park, Sydney; The Observatory Hotel, Sydney; National Press Club and Park Hyatt in Canberra, and recently completed a nine month residency at The One and Only, Hayman Island.

Kangaroo Island FEASTival

Classical Guitar: Lucinda has maintained her love of the guitar since she began lessons at the age of 6. Her teachers, Cathy and Jason Waldron (Progressive Classical guitar Series), taught in the style and technique of Spanish/classical guitarist Andres Segovia. She was privileged to grow up playing in regular concerts and workshops at the Spanish Guitar centre in Adelaide, and she performed Villa Lobos - Prelude no. 1 at the Adelaide Festival Theatre at the age of 12. These workshops attracted visits with masters such as John Williams and La Goya. Her repertoire includes works of Chopin, Bach, Terrega, Sor, Guiliani, Barrios, Albenez, Astor Piazzola and Traditional Spanish repertoire, as well as popular classics. Popular requests for weddings have been Mendelshon's Wedding March, Prelude in G-Bach, Greensleeves (trad English Folksong), Schubert's Ave Maria, Pachelbel Cannon.

Lucinda playing classical guitar acoustically with little or no amplification creates a beautiful, relaxed but refined atmosphere in-or outdoors, over dinner; before, during or after a wedding ceremony or for any event.

Lucinda's background in guitar as well as her passion for singing and has given her a solid foundation for her own song writing and interpreting of songs that have inspired her. Her vast repertoire includes those of Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, Leonard Cohen, Don Walker(Cold Chisel), The Beatles, Robert Johnson, Bob Dylan, Donny Hathaway, Jill Scott, and Brazilian composers such as Dorival Cayeme, Ivan Lynns and Antonio Carlos Jobim. Stylistically she moves seamlessly from jazz, blues, folk, pop to Bossa Nova while her repertoire is eclectic, varied and constantly evolving.

Accompanying herself on the double bass, Lucinda delivers her jazz set with sophistication and class. Influenced by the great jazz singers and jazz musicians Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, NIna Simone, Chet Baker, Charlie Parker and Duke Ellington to name just a few and with a love of interpreting great songs her repertoire includes jazz, blues and soul classics through all the era's. Add drums, piano, jazz guitar to form duo, trio or quartet perfect for either Supper Club setting or background music.

Piano and vocals: Lucinda also accompanies herself on piano, singing a vast repertoire of jazz/blues and popular classics, original songs as well as current popular songs.
